CyberTankz — a long-awaited version of tanki from 2016-2019, designed to bring back the immersive atmosphere of those years. The project is constantly being improved and finalised by the development team, who aim to make the game as enjoyable as possible, trying to include only the best features of the past from Tanki Online, balanced as well as possible with the right tweaks, such as protection modules, overdrives, juggernaut mode and much more.

Getting Started: Your First Battle
New to CyberTankz? Here is everything you need to know to jump into your first match and start climbing the ranks.

Download the Client
Grab the Windows installer from our Download page, run it, and create your account. The client is lightweight and works on most modern PCs.

Pick a Hull and Turret
Start with a balanced combo such as Hunter with Firebird or Hornet with Thunder. Read our Hulls and Turrets guides to learn the trade-offs.

Learn the Controls
Use WASD to drive, the mouse to aim and shoot, number keys for supplies, and Q to drop the flag in CTF. A few minutes in a parkour map will get your driving smooth.

Play the Objective
In Deathmatch, fight for kills. In CTF, protect your flag carrier. In Control Points, hold the zones. Objectives give far more rewards than random fighting.

Upgrade in the Garage
Spend your crystals on M-level upgrades and micro-upgrades in the Garage. Even small upgrades make a noticeable difference on the battlefield.

Is CyberTankz free to play?
Yes. CyberTankz is completely free to download and play. Optional in-game purchases exist, but every item can be earned through gameplay and daily missions.
What era of Tanki Online does CyberTankz recreate?
CyberTankz focuses on the classic 2016-2019 era of tank battles: familiar hulls and turrets, the 2018 protection-module system, overdrives, Juggernaut, micro-upgrades, and classic maps.
Can I play on Mac or Linux?
The official client is built for Windows. Mac and Linux players can run the game through Wine or a compatible Windows layer, though performance may vary.
How do I earn crystals quickly?
Complete daily missions, capture Gold Boxes that drop in battle, play objective modes, and rank up. The Daily Missions page explains the best rotation strategy.
What is the best turret and hull combination?
There is no single best combo. Wasp + Railgun is great for sniping, Viking + Shaft for mid-range control, and Mammoth + Freeze for holding choke points. Read the Turrets guide for counters and pairings.
